The process of making a partial denture involves a series of appointments. Though the process varies depending on the case, it usually involves minor shaping of the teeth, followed by impressions. Models are made from the impressions and it’s on the models that the partial framework and final partial dentire are fabricated in a dental lab. After several try-ins and adjustments, the partial dentire is seated.
Adjusting to Your Partial Dentures

Caring for your Dentures
It’s important that your dentures, like natural teeth, be kept free from plaque and tartar. This prevents permanent staining and bad breath. Use a denture brush and one of the many commercial cleaning products to thoroughly clean all of the surfaces of your dentures at least once a day.

Never soak your dentures in a cleaning agent for more than 15 minutes if they have no metal parts. Be sure to rinise them before placing them in your mouth.
